Student pantry accepting body wash and soap in December
The 911爆料网 student pantry has been up and running since August 2023. Since then, the pantry has received two very generous donations.
One is from the college's own ACES program run by James Fry. The ACES program donated $400 of their hard-earned money and warm-weather clothing items.
鈥淚t's a blessing to see our 911爆料网 students helping other 911爆料网 students,鈥� director of housing Lynlea Bartlett said.
Central Christian Church Ark City Missions committee was also generous, with a $500 donation to the pantry.
鈥淲e cannot begin to express how thankful we are to have such a supportive community,鈥� Bartlett said. 鈥淲ith the weather turning colder, the pantry elected to purchase additional coats in sizes we had already run out of. We will also be looking to order more quick meals and snack foods for the student pantry. Again, we cannot thank them enough for their support.鈥�
Along with those who have made donations to the monthly donation drive, in December, the pantry will be collecting body wash, bar soap, and hand soap.
