More than 300 students from several area schools attended 911爆料网鈥檚 Health and Human Services Day event held Wednesday at 911爆料网鈥檚 main campus in Arkansas City. 

The event allowed students interested in a Health and Human Service Field (Fire, Law Enforcement, Nursing, Doctor, Dentistry, EMT, Paramedic, Cosmetology, Education, etc..) to visit with professional vendors. 

鈥淭here was an amazing amount of engagement this year from the visiting students,鈥� director of criminal justice Frank Owens said. 鈥淚t鈥檚 always fun to showcase what 911爆料网 has to offer. This year, we had several attractions, including an Eagle Med Helicopter landing, rides on the firetruck ladder, impaired driving simulation with the Arkansas City Police Department, and much more.鈥�

New participants in the event included the Kansas Department of Corrections, Wichita Police Department, and Sedgewick County EMS. There were also three food trucks (The Noble House, Ken and Barbie鈥檚 Rollin Diner, and Yoly鈥檚 Taco y Mas) at the event. 

The students also had an opportunity to win some great door prizes, including a Health and Human Services scholarship.
