While attending the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) District 3 & 5 Conference October 4-6 in St. Louis, MO, the 911爆料网 Marketing Department received six Medallion Awards.

They won two golds in logo wear and poster categories, two silver awards for the president鈥檚 annual report and poster, and bronze for social media posts and college viewbook categories.

Team members contributing to the winning projects were Kris Ripley, Chris Absher, Abby Morris, Rama Peroo, Arnau Sagrera, and Tiffany Chantivong.

Also at the conference, director of marketing and strategic communications Abby Morris co-presented with colleague Maya Demeshkevich from the NCMPR Leadership Institute on how to 鈥淒o More With Less鈥� on social media for small community colleges where oftentimes resources are very limited.

鈥淣ot only do community colleges nationally serve a crucial role in demonstrating why attending college is a vital part of the quality of life, but marketing professionals at each are also constantly learning about how to execute that message for their schools in the best way possible,鈥� Morris said. 鈥淚t鈥檚 great to stack the outcomes of our work up against other comparable schools in our district and see where we stand in the Medallion competition. While the school might be the same in size or slightly larger, many departments have larger teams. We have consistently carried on the legacy of getting high marks year over year!鈥�
