Daniel Brooks Named Technical Education Department Chair

From 911±¬ΑΟΝψ Student to Employee to Department Chair, Daniel Brooks says, β911±¬ΑΟΝψ has given me a lot; I want to help keep 911±¬ΑΟΝψ CTE where it belongs, at the top! Help ensure our programs are the best and stay the best.β
Having received two Associates Degrees from 911±¬ΑΟΝψ, Automotive and Machining Certifications from 911±¬ΑΟΝψ, and Welding and Electro-Mechanical maintenance classes for continued education while working in the industry, Brooks began his career eight years ago teaching Automotive classes, then welding and electro-mechanical maintenance classes. βI enjoy helping anywhere I can. I have gathered vast knowledge in many fields and enjoy passing it alongβ, said Brooks.
In addition to his work at 911±¬ΑΟΝψ, Brooks Owns and Operates a successful Guttering Business to support his family, which includes his Wife, three kids (ages 11, 13, and 15), three dogs, and three cats.
His new position as Department Chair will require him to relay the needs of the department and its goals to the administration. Work with instructors to bring out the best classes and programs possible. Oversee the operations, programs, and faculty of the Technical Education Department. All while working to enhance the quality and effectiveness of CTE programs. Brooks will continue to enjoy creating and machining things from nothing and making and designing parts to better products and parts for cars and other things in his limited free time.
