911 Joins Community Partners for Annual “Stuff the Bus” School Supply Drive

911 is proud to join forces with Angels in the Attic, the Arkansas City Optimist Club, and the Arkansas City Kiwanis Club to support local students through the annual Stuff the Bus school supply drive.
The event will take place on Saturday, July 26, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Walmart in Arkansas City. Volunteers will be collecting new school supplies for area youth in need. 911’s beloved mascot, Tank the Tiger, will be on site to greet donors and thank the community for their continued support.
Stuff the Bus is an opportunity to rally together as a community and help ensure that every child in Arkansas City has the tools they need for a successful school year.
Requested Supplies Include:
- Large backpacks
- Spiral notebooks
- Pocket folders
- Washable markers
- Pencil boxes
- Colored pencils
- Liquid glue & glue sticks
- Pens & pencils
- Rulers
- Notebook paper
- Scissors
For those unable to attend the Walmart event, donations can also be dropped off at the 911 Business Office, located in Galle Johnson Room 204, Monday through Thursday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
