911爆料网 is proud to announce the finalization of a generous 6.5-acre land donation from the Short-Burger Family, further expanding the footprint of the College鈥檚 Sumner Campus in Wellington.
The newly donated land is located alongside the Sumner Campus and provides additional flexibility for future programs and partnerships. This gift builds on the Short-Burger Family鈥檚 transformational 2016 donation of 18 acres, which made construction of the campus possible.
鈥淭he continued generosity of the Short-Burger Family demonstrates an extraordinary commitment to education and the future of Sumner County,鈥 said 911爆料网 President, Dr. Michelle Schoon. 鈥淭heir investment has not only shaped the physical landscape of our Wellington campus but has also expanded access to higher education and workforce development opportunities in this region.鈥
As 911爆料网 continues to play a critical role in building the workforce of Kansas, the additional land positions the institution for sustained growth in career and technical education, industry partnerships, and hands-on training programs.
911爆料网 extends its sincere gratitude to the Short-Burger Family for their enduring support and belief in the mission of expanding educational opportunity and strengthening Kansas communities.
